2018 Shrine Bowl Rosters Announced

The Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas was first played on December 4, 1937, in Charlotte, N.C., making it the oldest high school football all-star game in the nation. The annual game featuring many of the top high school players from North and South Carolina is played to benefit the Greenville (South Carolina) Unit Shriners Hospital for Children and the 21 other Shriners Hospitals for Children across the nation.

Congratulations to the following players who were selected to represent North Carolina in the 2018 Shrine Bowl. This year's game will be played at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th at Wofford's Gibbs Stadium in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

2017 Shrine Bowl Rosters Announced

2014 North Carolina Shrine Bowl Combines:

The purpose of the Shrine Bowl of the Carolina's Combines are to provide an opportunity for high school football players to demonstrate skills needed for athletic scholarships and possible Shrine Bowl selection.

The combines are open to all rising 12th graders.

Cost: $20.00 per player. High School coaches and spectators will be admitted for free. There will be no checks or credit cards accepted at any of the combines. There will be Shrine Bowl staff at each combine to collect registration fees.

Every effort was made not to conflict, when possible, with state and regional track meets, Spring Break, Memorial Day weekend and host site conflicts.

Times:
9:30 am REGISTRATION FOR KICKERS, PUNTERS, AND LONG SNAPPERS
10:00 am REGISTRATION FOR POSITION PLAYERS
10:00 am KICKERS START TIME
11:00 am POSITION PLAYERS START TIME

(There is no pre-registration for Shrine Bowl Combines)

A. Purpose:
To provide opportunity for high school football players to demonstrate skills needed for athletic scholarships and possible Shrine Bowl selection.

B. Who:
Rising 12th graders are eligible to attend.

C. Cost:
$20.00 per player. High School Coaches and spectators will be admitted free. There will be no checks accepted at any of the combines, cash only please. There will Shrine Bowl staff at each combine to collect registration fees.

D. To be measured:
1. Height
2. Weight

E. To be tested:
1. Broad Jump
2. 40 Yard Dash
3. Pro Agility Shuttle
4. Bench Press Rep. (All position players will rep 185 as many times as they can.)

F. To be evaluated: Each position player will work with Shrine Bowl coaches at his position and go through a series of football related drills.

G. Important Information:
1. Athletes can only attend one Shrine Bowl combine in their state.
2. Some events may change according to equipment available.
3. Rising seniors should bring videos for the Shrine Bowl Coaching Staff to evaluate.
4. Each player will receive a T-shirt and unmatched exposure.
5. Each position player will work with Shrine Bowl coaches at his position and go through a series of football related drills.
6. Please be on time: We are going to be on a tight schedule.
