Week 7 Carolina Gridiron Rankings Showcase High School Football's Elite

 


As North Carolina high school football enthusiasts flock to stadiums across the state, the Week 7 Carolina Gridiron rankings have landed, bringing with them a fresh perspective on the top teams across all classifications. 4A Classification: In the 4A classification, Grimsley (5-0) continues to set the pace, holding their position at the top after an impressive 48-14 victory over Northwest Guilford. Butler (5-1) displayed their prowess with a commanding 49-6 victory over Providence, securing their second-place ranking. Weddington (5-1) surged to the third spot after a win against South Carolina power Dutch Fork. Rolesville (4-1) remains strong in the fourth spot following their 43-7 victory over Athens Drive (0-6).

3A Classification: The 3A classification continues to showcase a strong set of top teams. Crest (5-0), Kings Mountain (5-0), and Dudley (5-0) hold steady at the top, demonstrating their unwavering dominance. West Charlotte (5-0) and Northern Nash (5-0) are right on the heels of the top three following impressive nonconference wins.

2A Classification: The 2A classification saw limited changes in the top rankings. Clinton (5-0) retained their top spot, further establishing themselves as the team to beat in this classification. East Duplin (6-0) continued their impressive season with a 66-12 victory over Kinston, securing the fourth position. Monroe (4-1) and Forest Hills (5-0) face off this week to see who will remain in the top five.

1A Classification: In the 1A classification, Mount Airy (6-0) stands tall at the number one spot, maintaining their flawless record. Tarboro (4-0), Swain (5-0), and Mitchell (6-0) are all ready to challenge the Granite Bears for 1A supremacy. North Rowan (5-1) moved up in the rankings after taking down Thomasville last week.
