Five North Carolina Teams to Play in Postseason Bowl Games

Five teams from North Carolina will play in bowl games this month. From the FCS, the MEAC and SWAC conferences have foregone their automatic bids into the NCAA Division I FCS playoff in lieu of sending their champion to the Celebration Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. For FBS teams, six wins are necessary to become bowl eligible. A total of thirty-nine bowl games will be played between FBS teams over the next month.
