NCCA East-West All-Star Game Returning to Greensboro

The North Carolina Coaches Association is pleased to announce that the East-West All-Star Football Game will return to Jamieson Stadium in 2014.

Phil Weaver, director of the all-star games for the NCCA, stated: “After consultation with the association Board of Directors, I determined that playing in the stadium named for the founder of the NCCA was important. Other significant factors were the proximity of Jamieson Stadium to our clinic at the Greensboro Coliseum, the renovation of Jamieson Stadium and its parking facilities, and the location of the NCCA’s office adjacent to the stadium.”

Mr. Weaver continued, “The support of the people of High Point, the Police and Fire Departments, and the personnel associated with A.J. Simeon Stadium made our stay there very enjoyable. We remain grateful to them for stepping into the breach and saving the 2013 game.”
